Just ahead of the IFA 2017, where LG and Samsung are expected to launch smartphones and smartwatches. Sony is also set to launch a 6-inch flagship device in Berlin.
Xperia XZ1’s specifications and price leak hints the the smartphone is set to launch at the event beginning on September 1. Specifications and renders of the Xperia XZ1 Compact have also been leaked.
The Xperia XZ1 will come with a 5.2-inch display, powered by the Snapdragon 835 SoC, and sport a single camera setup at the back. In optics, the phone might have a 19-megapixel senor at the rear end, and it is apparently capable of recording 4K video and 960fps slow motion video. At the front, there will be 12-megpaixel sensor for selfies and video chats. Xperia XZ1 will run on Android Oreo out of the box, according to rumors. With just days of Android Oreo’s launch it is unclear whether the phone will have the update or be compatible for it.
According to Tipster Roland Quandt claims that the Sony Xperia XZ1 will start at a price of GBP 599 (roughly Rs. 49,200), and the Xperia XZ1 Compact will be priced at GBP 499 (roughly Rs. 40,900).
