Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017), Galaxy A5 (2017) Prices reduced in India

Samsung on Friday announced price cuts for its Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) and Galaxy A5 (2017) in India. As per the new price Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) will now be available at Rs. 22,900, down from an earlier price of Rs. 26,900 and the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) will cost Rs. 25,900, down from Rs. 30,900.


Both the phones launched in India in March at a launch price of Rs. 28,990 for A5 and Rs. 33,490 for the A7 model. Both the phones have Galaxy S7-style design, cameras with low-light optimisation, a simplified camera UX, and IP68-rating for dust and water resistance. Samsung has also introduced Samsung Pay, its payments service with the Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017).
Specifications for Galaxy A7 (2017):  The phone comes with a 5.7-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels.It is powered by 1.9GHz octa-core Exynos 7880 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB of internal storage expandable up to 256GB. It packs a 16-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 16-megapixel front shooter for selfies. It runs Android 6.0 and is powered by a 3600mAh non-removable battery. It measures 77.60 x 7.90 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 186.00 grams. The dual sim phone accepts Nano-SIM.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB OTG, FM, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India).

It is powered by 1.9GHz octa-core Exynos 7880 processor and it comes with 3GB of RAM. The phone packs 32GB of internal storage expandable up to 256GB. The phone packs a 16-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 16-megapixel front shooter for selfies. It runs Android 6.0 and is powered by a 3000mAh non-removable battery. It measures 146.10 x 71.40 x 7.90 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 157.00 grams. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB OTG, FM, 3G and 4G. Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope and Barometer.
