Huawei has been sending out invites for a launch event in Munich on October 16, giving rise to speculation that the company might unveil its Huawei Mate 10. Over the last few weeks several leaks about the upcoming flagship have made the rounds. A new render of the smartphone has also surfaced on the Internet.
The Huawei Mate 10 will most likely sport a 6-inch (1080×2160 pixels) display with a taller-than-usual aspect ratio of 18:9, same as the LG G6. The phone is also said to come with Leica-branded lenses, just like in the case of Mate 9.
Huawei’s Mate 9 launched November last year and features a 5.9-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels. It is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor and it comes with 4GB RAM, 64GB of internal storage expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card, packs a 20-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies. The Huawei Mate 9 runs Android 7.0 and is powered by a 4000mAh non-removable battery. It measures 156.90 x 78.90 x 7.90 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 190.00 grams. It’s priced at Rs. 64,900 in India.
